Last week I spent 23 hours in my hometown. Spent money on items from my favorite teams (Go Ducks!). Bought Trail Blazers toys for my kids. Helped my parents at their house. Attended a meeting. Rode the MAX light rail. Got a free meal courtesy of my sister. Ate tacos made by my dad for breakfast AND lunch.
It was a smashing success. That rain sure felt good after months of Arizona HEAT.
The NBA season is around the corner. I’m excited to see how the Blazers do after their magnificent run to the Western Conference Finals last season.
It was also nice to look up and be reminded of this.
